Why a No-KYC crypto payment gateway is different from promising anonymous or untraceable payments.
Two different ideas
A No-KYC crypto payment gateway describes whether SoloPay adds its own identity-review or payout-approval queue before supported funds can be received. Anonymous describes whether participants and transactions can be identified. These terms should not be used interchangeably.
SoloPay does not add a separate identity-review step for supported payment flows, but payments still settle on public blockchains and produce transaction records.
Privacy without misleading claims
A privacy-first flow can minimize unnecessary data collection while retaining the payment evidence a merchant needs. Wallet address, network, amount, transaction hash, order reference, and confirmation status may still be processed.
Merchant responsibilities remain
Merchants should assess sanctions, restricted industries, consumer protection, tax, recordkeeping, and other rules relevant to their operation. SoloPay’s payment gateway design does not replace that assessment.
